League Times:
**12:00PM – ~2:30 PM**
All matches will begin @ ~12:10 pm
** League will run rain or shine **

Location:
Trillium Center Beach Courts – 101 Crimson Drive, Sherwood Park

Maximum Entries:
15 Athletes

Registration Fee:
$80/athlete

League Format:
– Athletes will be placed each afternoon session into Pools of 5, randomly drawn from a sequence generator.
– Each athlete will play 4 games to 25 points, each one with a different partner, and required to score-keep one match.
– Service target must alternate after 2 consecutive serves to the opposition side, otherwise, no points will be awarded to the serving team, however, **service will be retained if serving team wins the rally**
– Games won & points for/against with each different partner, accumulating throughout the month of July, will determine League standings.

🏆 Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the League to the top 3 point totals!! 🏆

League Rules:
FIVB Beach Volleyball Rules will apply:

NO overhand passing (setting) on serve receive or free balls – will only be allowed when defending a hard-driven attack
NO open hand tipping – no fingertips, must play the ball from knuckles or fist
BLOCKS count as a touch – if a player blocks an attack they may play it again, but their teams next contact must go over the net
NO SIDE SETTING – When setting over the Net to your opponents, your feet and shoulders must be square to where the ball lands
NO net touches are allowed
Crossing under the net is allowed as long as you do not interfere with anyone or the play
Players/teams are to call faults on themselves – Please re-serve the ball if there is a disagreement with a call
