Jeff Madro – 18U Black – Assistant Coach

Jeff began his volleyball career in grade 8. In 9th grade, playing for Archbishop Jordan in Sherwood Park, he and his team won the Elk Island Catholic Jr. High league championship. Jeff played club volleyball from 14U to 18U; he also trained with Team Alberta Edmonton Training Centre in the summer of 2021. Following his 18U club season, Jeff won the USA Volleyball Boys Open Junior National Championship with Alberta Jumplete. Jeff continued his volleyball journey with the University of Alberta Golden Bears, becoming a U-Sports National Champion and Canada West Champion in his first year, and then a U-Sports silver medalist and Canada West silver medalist the following year.

Jeff is going into his third year with the Golden Bears while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Honors Computing Sciences where he aspires to one day become a doctor and work on cutting-edge problems.

Jeff is excited to bring his technical and tactical expertise back to his hometown. He aims to foster confidence and autonomy within players through strategy and training.
