Annika Beamish – 16U White – Assistant Coach

Annika is in her third year of Economics at the University of Alberta, and has been involved in sports from a young age. With a rich background in volleyball, she began playing club (with PGVC) in 13U and has captained her club team every season since. Her school volleyball experience culminated in a Metro D1 City championship in her senior year of high school, and a silver medal at ASAA Provincials. A multi-sport athlete, she has also excelled in gymnastics, basketball, and team handball, where she has a few more city and provincial championship
titles.

Her passion for sports goes beyond personal achievement-she believes in empowering athletes to reach their full potential. She believes in the power of competition and the strength of team. With a kind, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach, she’s committed to giving back to the volleyball community that has shaped her into the athlete and person she is today.
