Emma Smith – 15U Black – Assistant Coach

Emma grew up in Edmonton, discovering her love for sports at a young age, participating in gymnastics, track and field, and flag football, but found her biggest passion in volleyball. She has been playing for 10 years, starting in Grade 7, including 3 years of club as an outside and libero. 

Emma has been coaching for 4 years as both a head and assistant club coach for athletes aged U15-18. She has also coached beach volleyball, JV and Varsity volleyball with Austin O’Brien High School, and youth development programs with Volleyball Alberta. Emma is also a Level 2 Referee!

She is currently going into her 5th year of schooling at The King’s University, where she is studying biology and kinesiology, with aspirations of becoming a high school teacher. 

Starting her first year with Park, Emma is excited to share her knowledge with athletes and help them reach their goals!
