Brooke Risselada – 14U Risselada – Head Coach
Brooke grew up in Edmonton, where she first discovered her love for sports at Edmonton Christian High School, competing in volleyball, basketball, and badminton. While she enjoyed all three, her true passion has always been volleyball!
She spent the majority of her club career playing for the NOOKS before continuing her athletic journey in the ACAC with The King’s University Eagles. During her five years with the Eagles, Brooke made a lasting impact on the program. In her third year, the team captured a Bronze medal at the ACAC Provincial Championships. She went on to earn All-Conference recognition in both her fourth and fifth years, and in her final season was honored as both an All-Canadian and an Academic All-Canadian. Brooke also received the Women’s Volleyball MVP and Women’s Athlete of the Year awards from The King’s University Athletics. Brooke also holds the ACAC record for most kills in one match.
Brooke recently graduated from The King’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and aspires to become a child psychologist in the future. She is thrilled to begin her coaching journey, and she is passionate about sharing her love for volleyball while helping young athletes grow in both skill and confidence.
