Cora Betker – 14U Rozema – Assistant Coach

Cora grew up in Edmonton, where she was a dedicated multi-sport athlete and developed a lifelong love for competition and teamwork. Once reaching high school, she discovered her true passion for volleyball and went on to play for NOOKS 18U in her senior year as a middle hitter, an experience that deepened her commitment to the sport and sparked her interest in coaching.

Over the past several years, Cora has built a strong coaching background. She previously served as an assistant coach with FOG 15U, where she contributed to athlete development, game strategy, and team culture. Prior to that, she was a head coach with Queens Volleyball Club 14U in Red Deer for two years, leading practices, supporting athletes in competition, and fostering a positive environment that encouraged both skill development and personal growth. Her coaching philosophy focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game.

Currently, Cora is completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Alberta and plans to pursue an After-Degree in Secondary Education. Her academic journey strengthens her ability to connect athletics with learning while preparing her for a career as both a teacher and coach.

She is thrilled to be part of the Park Volleyball community and looks forward to a season full of growth, competition, and fun with her athletes.
